Master file The master file can be freely modified, it is not encrypted. It contains all the data constituting the engine mapping. Slave file The slave file cannot be freely modified. It can only be processed by the master to which the slave tool is linked. The slave file is a file in .zip format that contains the same information as the backup file but also the data constituting the engine mapping. What is a backup file? The backup file contains all the memories of the MCU. The extension used is .zip or .bak. It can be decompressed with any decompression software that supports .zip format (e.g., Winzip, 7zip) This file is automatically saved during boot or bench read in the "Autotuner ECU backups" folder. Power (white) It indicates the presence of 12V output. When flashing, it means that the ECU is powered. Be extremely careful when the ECU is powered because there is a risk of short circuit with a metal object. Status (blue) It flashes to indicate that the interface is working properly.
